Terms of Service

1. Introduction
Welcome to AskJack. This service enables the utilization of your uploaded documents and your websites, making it available via AI in Slack and Teams through our Slack app. By using AskJack, you agree to these Terms of Service (ToS).

2. Service Integration
AskJack integrates with OAuth and provides readonly access to your applications. Users must specify what AskJack has access to, with multiple ways provided to limit this access.

3. User Responsibilities
Prohibited Uses: Users are prohibited from using AskJack for illegal activities, including sharing, storing, or distributing illegal images, pirated content, or engaging in cybercrime, hate speech, harassment, promoting violence, fraudulent or deceptive practices, or any activities violating the law or harmful to our brand reputation.
Users must ensure secure methods are used to connect to data sources, including strong passwords and secure networks.

4. Data Privacy and Security
We store excerpts of your data, encoded for security. Row-level access permissions ensure data is secure and only accessible to your organization. Data is serviced and stored using OpenAI and Microsoft, with user information not shared beyond what may already be shared with the services you integrate with.

5. Intellectual Property
You own the data you access via AskJack. Third-party content must be respected according to their respective intellectual property rights. Crafted Labs, Inc. owns any usage data generated through AskJack.

6. Changes to the Service
Changes to AskJack are posted within the application. Major changes may be communicated to users via email prior to release using our best efforts, but this is not guaranteed.

7. Refund Policy
AskJack offers a 14-day free trial. Refunds are available upon request. Send a refund request to support@askjack.io for a full refund of your last billing period. Annual subscriptions will be prorated to the nearest month.

8. Age Restrictions
All users must be over 13 to use this service.

9. Cookies and User Activity Monitoring
AskJack uses cookies and user activity monitoring to provide and improve the service. This data is not shared with third parties.

10. Links to Third-Party Content
AskJack is not responsible for the content linked to the applications.

11. Acceptable Use Policy
The service is intended for business-to-business use. Users must not engage in activities that disrupt, interfere with, or negatively impact other users, the service, or its infrastructure.

12. Warranty Disclaimer

13. Force Majeure
Crafted Labs, Inc. shall not be held responsible for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond its control, including natural disasters, wars, government actions, terrorism, pandemics, and other major disruptions.

14. Limitation of Liability
Crafted Labs, Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages from the use of AskJack. Liability in the event of a data breach or misuse of the service is limited to the extent permitted by law.

15. Accuracy of Information
AskJack uses AI services, and there may be times where the information is not fully accurate. Always consult the provided links for verification.

16. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crafted Labs, Inc. from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from their use of AskJack.

17. Service Availability and Maintenance
AskJack has a 99.9% service uptime guarantee. Credits for downtime are available as described. Maintenance will be conducted as necessary.

18. Termination and Suspension
Accounts may be terminated or suspended for illegal use or lack of payment. Your data will be deleted within 48 hours of notice of termination.

19. Modifications to ToS
Changes to the ToS will be communicated to all admin users via their login email. Acceptance of these ToS is required upon signup.

20. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Washington State. Both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of an appointed arbitrator and waive the right to a jury trial.

21. Governing Law
The ToS are governed by the laws of Washington State, USA.
